“When Stars Breathe” is an evolving body of work created in oils, oil-acrylics, chalk, and graphite — a series that lives and breathes at the intersection of the cosmic and the deeply personal.

At the heart of this series lies a quiet truth: we are energy. We absorb it, we reflect it, we release it. This belief pulses through every canvas — often literally, in the form of whispered words and personal blessings woven into the work itself. Phrases surface intuitively, appearing either embedded into the front of the painting or inscribed on the reverse as a private dedication — a blessing that travels with the artwork when it finds its home with a collector.

The word “love” appears again and again. Because we are only energy. And the energy we put out is the energy we receive. Love is the frequency this series is painted on.

The Light Works (Rose & Deep Blue) The paintings defined by their expansive fields of white are portals. The white doesn’t empty the canvas — it opens it. Viewers consistently describe a sense of stepping into a third dimension, as if the painting quietly unfolds a room behind itself. One collector said it best: “I’d hang this where my television used to be. After a long day, I just want to sit in front of it and breathe.” Alongside the white, vivid intuitive bursts of rose and deep blue erupt — born without plan, placed by feeling alone.

The Dark Works (Gold & Shadow) Running parallel is a darker body of work, some pieces reaching back decades. These paintings carry the same soul but speak in shadow. Embedded within them are reflective gold particles — light hidden inside darkness — a reminder that even in the deepest tones, something luminous always remains.

The Freedom Works (Turquoise) The third body within this series moves in turquoise — open, wide, and unbound. These paintings speak of clouds, sky, and the sensation of freedom. Where the first series turns inward and the second descends into depth, this one rises. Expansive cloud formations drift across the canvas, evoking liberation, breath, and the feeling of standing beneath an infinite sky.
