Munich has a soft spot for its dogs — and honestly, so do I.
Sure, everyone talks about the cathedrals, the beer gardens, the grand old squares. But the real Munich? You’ll find it at the end of a leash. Walk this city with a dog and suddenly everything feels different — friendlier, slower, more alive.
Dogs don’t care about landmarks. They care about the guy who always has a treat in his pocket, the patch of sun by the Isar, the five other dogs they already know by smell. And somehow, that’s exactly what makes this city feel like home.
I get to see it every day through Bobbino’s eyes — my rescue dog, my constant sidekick, my excuse for slower walks and better mornings.
